This page describes, plainly, what KOYOMIYA stores and why. It isn't a document drafted by a lawyer — it's a factual account of what the code actually does.
What's stored on your device
KOYOMIYA keeps everything in your browser's localStorage: your birth date, your Nine Star Ki Main Star, your streak, and your last 90 daily results. None of it is stored anywhere else.
What we never receive
Your birth date is never sent to our servers. It's used only inside your browser to compute your Main Star and your daily fortune.
Cookies
The only cookie KOYOMIYA sets remembers your chosen language (English or Japanese) for 30 days. It isn't used for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
Analytics
If enabled, KOYOMIYA uses Umami, a cookie-less analytics tool. It counts page views and a small set of anonymous events (such as which grade you drew) without setting a cookie or tracking you across other sites.
Giving your email address is entirely optional. We're collecting addresses now and are not sending anything yet. If we start a daily email, that's what it will be used for. You can unsubscribe at any time. We never sell your address. It is stored with our email provider, which handles delivery on our behalf, and is used for nothing else.
Deleting your data
You can remove everything KOYOMIYA has stored on this device at any time — clear your browser's site data for koyomiya.ink, or use the button below.
